Hello Parents and Athletes,
Here at the International School of Stavanger we are happy to have such a great turnout in our sports program. During the past couple of years we have been able to add more teams. Hundreds of students are found on our courts, fields and pitches enjoying activity with their peers throughout the year. See what we have to offer.
A big thanks goes out to all our supporters. Coaches are geared up, parents are ready to cheer and athletes are chomping at the bit getting ready to take the challenges on that lie ahead during the season.
This web-site is meant for you to find the information that you need when it comes to sports. Each page is a little different, but it should have all the information you need to be informed about the season. Schedules, travel specifics and essential documents can be found on Edline. If there are any schedule changes of any kind please refer directly to Edline, if you have not heard from the coach that a practice has been cancelled, assume it will still happen. You can always contact the coach through Edline. Please check out the list of sports practice times.
To get a good sense of what the Athletic Department is here at ISS please have a read of our Mission and Philosophy. If you see something that should be added at anytime, please go to our FAQ and write us a question or comment. Parent Association Liaison
As active as our students are and as big as our sports program is getting, we would not be able to host events or put on community happenings without the help of the ISS community. Our Parent Association has been active all around ISS and when it comes specifically to the sports program we have had great success coordinating volunteers for the numerous events.
Parents are free to contact the Athletic Department directly, or if you would like there is one parent that sits on the board of the PA meetings as an Athletic Liaison. Michael Howard has been that parent now for the past year and will continue on this year. You can ask him to raise any questions to the department or offer suggestions. Please contact him by his email if you would like to get a hold of him for further communication.
